Pilgrims walk from Travel Lodge to Mersea Strood. 17 Miles
Volunteer drivers needed to drive form The Strood to Maldon.
Thursday 29th May
Pilgrims pack cases, check out from Hotel and luggage left with volunteer drivers.
Volunteer drivers needed to take pilgrims from Maldon to the Strood in Mersea Island.
Pilgrims walk from Strood to East Mersea passenger ferry to Point clear 5 miles
Ferry to Point clear. 2 hourly service. 3 minute journey. (12.15 pm) (2.15pm)
Clacton parishioners get bus from Church to point clear. (Time to be advised)
Pilgrims and Clacton parishioners walk from Point clear to Martello bay. 8 miles
Pilgrimage suspended at Martello bay until Saturday.
Saturday 31st May The Feast of Our Lady Of Light.
10.00 All Parishioners meet at Martello bay carrying a flower.
Everyone processes from Martello Bay to Our Lady of Light Church where Flowers are laid before the altar.
